ROOFGUARD SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION

Our passive working at heights solutions include materials, installation, and engineering sign off to ensure that all of our guardrail systems meet or exceed industry standards and safety laws. RoofGuard is designed for multiple applications; elevated edges, skylights, hatches, obstructions, walkways and as a barrier around dangerous machinery.
- Working at Heights Compliance – Satisfies federal and provincial working at heights legislation
- Fully customizable – Modular design that allows for easy installation and for systems to fit any space or configuration
- Passive System – Once installed, this system eliminates extra PPE and training requirements for working at heights
- Ergonomic Design – No single component in a RoofGuard system weights over 50 lbs.
- No Roof Penetration – Stackable and nested baseplates engineered to provide counterweighted systems that don’t pierce your roof membrane
THE HIERARCHY OF FALL PROTECTION
- Hazard Elimination - Remove the hazard by having work done on the ground by either moving what is being worked on or creating an apparatus that allows the worker to stay on the ground while performing their task (e.g. using a drone or robotics to perform inspections at heights).
- Passive Fall Protection - Physical barriers like RoofGuard guardrail systems that surround unprotected edges, holes, obstructions or dangerous machinery.
- Fall Restraint - Anchoring systems that prevent a worker from reaching the hazard while tied off to them. (Requires worker participation, training and extra PPE).
- Fall Arrest - Anchoring systems that catch a worker while falling when tied off to them. (Requires worker participation, training, extra PPE and a formal rescue plan).
- Administrative Controls - Work practices or procedures that increase a worker's awareness of fall hazards. (Only recommended in addition to one or multiple of the above).
